Due to upcoming weather Team Appreciaton Day will be postponed until Sunday, May 16th. All Games will be played as scheduled. Games will be played in the rain and only canceled if there are thunderstorms. Check the website or call your captain about cancellation information.

Game 1: Dragons (6) vs. Niners (12)

The 1-2 Dragons were looking to rebound from their first loss of the season to SBD. The Dragons got the scoring started with a TD pass to Fred P. the Dragon's center. The niners coming off a tough 1pt loss to the Patriots responded with a long td pass to Greg S. to get the scored tied. Both teams missed the 1 pt conversion so the score was 6-6 and stayed that way until half time. Both teams played tough defense through the second half until another TD catch by Greg S. gave the niners the lead with about 5 minutes left on the clock. The Dragons got into scoring position but were unable to tie the game.

Game 2: Chargers (25) vs. Patriots (18)

The 1-2 Patriots were looking to get their offense going after a low scoring week  #1 The 0-2 chargers played tough defense against the Niners last week and were also looking to get their offense going without top WR Lavelle T. Herb B. was able to get the chargers on the board first with a TD run. They missed the 1 pt conversion. The patriots answered quickly when Greg M. scored his first TD of season with a 25  pass from Hank B. The 1pt conversion by Kyle made the score 7-6. Greg M. would score the next TD to make the score 13-6 at half time. The patriot extended the lead to 19-6 but the chargers defense got the defense back into the game. Miguel intercepted Hank B on the first half. The chargers finally got their offense going to make the score 19-18. The patriots in Chargers territory were looking seal the victory with one more score. Herb B. intercepted Hank B. and went 50 yards to make the score 25-19.

Game 3: Niners (20) vs. Stallions (18)

The 0-1 Stallions were excited about the return of Troy C to anchor the stallion defense that gave up 38 points last week. The niners got on the board first when Fred R. threw to greg S. to make the score 7-6 with a 1xpt by Scott M. Amp L. at QB was looking to get last season's #1 offense back on track. TD's to Andre J/ andMark E. made the score 7-12. A 50 yard kick return by Mark E. got the stallions offense in good field position. The stallions now deep in niners territory were not able score when Scott M. intercepted Amp L. with an exciting return for a Td to make the score 13-12 at halftime. Defense! Defense! Defense! Troy C. return to MVP form by getting  2 out of 3 stallions  3 interception. The stallions scored early in the second half and held on tight to 18-12. With 2 minutes Fred R. led the Niners down the field and threw a perfect pass to Ben E. to seal the victory 20-18. The stallions drop to 0-2.

Game 4: Stallions (0) vs. SBD (14)

A rematch of the SBD franchise opener was shaping up again the be the game of the day. The stallion offense was missing QB Clarence R. but Troy c was back to boost the Stallion Defense. Dom R. left off where he started last week with 2 quick TDs to Brandon and Chris s. The score at half time was 14-0. The SBD defense came out to play in second half and was determined to pitch a shutout. Chris M. came up with 2 Ints to keep the stallions offense off-balance throughout the second half. Dom R. ran ball control offense and complete over 15 passes to Kira D. and Chris S. Despite 10 completions by Amp L. the Stallions were unable to score for the first time in franchise history. The stallions drop to 0-3 while SBD improved to 2-0

Game 5: SBD (21) vs. Chargers (14)

The last game of the day had the high powered SBD coming off a shutout of the Stallions. The chargers ignited after their first victory over the niners were going to get a chance to make a statement.  Steve S. scored first for the SBD with a TD pass from Dom R. The chargers finally got on the board with a Td reception by Tim M.R. Tough defense held both offenses to make the score 7-7 at halftime. Jen M. SBD scored her first TD of the season and the SBD were in control with a 13-7. On their next possession deep in charger territory James L. intercepted stopped SBD in the red zone and the chargers were able to take the lead 14-13 late in the second half. On their next drive Chris G replaced Dom R. at Qb and threw his first TD of the season to Dom R. tom make the final score. 21-14. SBD is now 4-0 on the season while chargers drop 1-2
